Our Approach

It’s all Down to ‘HUMANATURE’

At Outerspace, we create stunning and meaningful landscape architecture.
Spaces that balance the needs of people and bio-diversity.

We measure the success of any project by the way humans use and interact within in it.
But people are finding it increasingly difficult to connect with nature within our urban landscapes. This is why we’re passionate that smart integration of biodiversity is key to our wellbeing and future.

No two projects are the same, but we apply three essential stages to all.

Stage 1

We’re Rigorous in Our Analysis

Considering all the people who’ll be using the space, their aspirations and requirements.
From this we set out a series of well considered design principles, ranging from the bigger picture to the smallest detail.

Stage 2

Breaking Free with Inspired Ideas

We’re passionate about hands-on exploration of form, relentlessly searching for the best solution. This liberated approach generates inspirational results, whether exploring the ‘conventional’ or the ‘eccentric’. In collaboration, the client and team select the best solution.

Stage 3

Beautiful Drawings for Successful Planning Applications

With planning secured, we turn our designs into reality, with affordable and deliverable solutions. Executed by our Technical Team, who safeguard the quality and creative vision through to completion.

As a result, our award winning projects span from Public Realm to Schools and Residential.
So it’s our appreciation of ‘human-nature’ that creates successful places for both people and biodiversity. Now and into the future.
